The Cavern Club

A legendary venue that will make you feel like you're back in the 1960's listening to the Beatles for the first time.

Stepping down the three flights of stairs to the Cavern Club is like entering a time machine, especially when the resident Beatles Tribute band is playing. (Is everything in Liverpool Beatles-themed? Yeah, mostly.) But if you look around at the older crowd, the faces of the couples in their 70s reflect the impact of Beatlemania and the special place in their hearts that the band will always hold. The space itself feels a little like a bunker—you are way underground afterall. But all day, just like decades ago, people dance to the live music.

Best things to see at The Cavern Club

The Cavern Club always delivers musically. Check their live schedule before headed over to plan out what kind of music you want to listen to, whether that’s a Beatles tribute band or a live acoustic set from a local artist. Some shows require that you purchase tickets beforehand and some are completely free with entrance. Make sure to take stock of all of the memorabilia and historic photos and clippings on the walls while you’re enjoying the music.
