Fiat 500s were introduced to the Italian masses at the end of the 1950s, and quickly became the nation's favorite little car. Eye-catching and stylishly retro, the earliest Fiat 500 models remain the most sought-after vintage cars in Italy today, and you’ll experience their nostalgic glory on your 5-hour tour.

After meeting your expert guide at a private garage in Florence, you’ll be introduced to your meticulously restored 1960s Fiat 500 and given a comprehensive safety briefing. You will have a practice session to get used to the car’s manual gears. If you’re the nominated driver in your group, you must be confident using them.

Leave Florence behind and head to the hills in a convoy following your guide. As you drive along secluded roads with little traffic, your guide will keep you entertained with fascinating facts about the region and its world-famous wines.

There is no way to properly describe the experience of driving through the Tuscan country in an original Fiat 500, so if you know how to drive stick (or are with someone who can) then you have no excuse not to take this tour. The tour guide, Mattia is amazing, informative, funny, and charismatic. He provided great knowledge of the area in an engaging way, and allowed for plenty of time to take pictures with the adorable little cars. We drove Paula, the red one and had a blast. The tour ends at a beautiful estate winery with very high quality wine, cheese, meats, and bruschetta. Mattia even showed us the proper way to put olive oil on bruschetta, so if you want to find that out then I guess you have to take the tour!

What a great day we had with Angelo I cant remember if that was his name !! sorry ! loved these old cars .put me back into another era .. loved the winery that we stopped at for a lovely lunch and sampled local food and wine ..he stopped for us to take some cool pictures .. highly recommend .. BUT if you do NOT know how to drive a standard don't bother and stress Anthony out to have to watch over you and put yourself or others in danger .. these cars are a challenge if you know how to drive a stick ..if you do then its just a blast and the Chianti countryside is beautiful.. thank you so much for a lovely day and we met 2 lovely young girls from Mexico that wanted to drive the Vespa..after some testing it was decided they should not and they were with our host in the other car and then we ubered back to Florence and drank some Aperole Spritzes or 2 with our new friends .. just wonderful .. Thank you Angelo

Alex our guide was great! You definitely need experience driving stick shift. Luckily my husband owned a fiat so he was fine driving. The wine estate was quaint but beautiful and the wine and snacks were delicious. Alex gave some good info on Chianti regions and took the best pictures for us! This was a fun way to see some of Tuscany region!
