• Kristina grew up in the greater Chicago area with a Japanese mom and a dad from Texas, so she grew up cooking and eating great food!

About your host, Kristina: “I took my passion for cooking and made it to the top 100 on MasterChef season 5. Now I cook for my husband and son - I love exposing kids to new flavors! I focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and love cooking Japanese and Southern foods.”

It was a great class. Kristina explained everything and walked us through every step. The hands on experience was great and the pizza was awesome! I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn how to make a deep dish pizza.

Had an amazing time making gyoza with Kristina! She immediately made us feel comfortable and capable (gyoza-making is a little intimidating, haha), and it felt like we were spending time with an old friend. The food was delicious, and she prepared a beautiful table for us as well. Can't recommend her highly enough!

We had such an enjoyable time with Kristina and the other attendees. Kristina is such a warm, caring individual, and shared some wonderful stories. I have lived in Chicago all my life and I can honestly say that the deep dish pizza that we made with Kristina, is just as good, if not better than Malnatti's, Pizano's, Giordano's, Ginos, and/or Pequods deep dish pizza. Thank you, Kristina!
